Join us once a month at noon for an hour lecture with some amazing presenters! Bring your sack lunch and come learn with us!

For our next Lunch and Learn, we are exploring far beyond the Great Lakes and travelling to ancient Egypt. Herodotus, a Greek historian, said that Egypt is “the Gift of River Nile” because ancient Egypt owed its survival to the waters of the Nile. The ancient Egyptian civilization was based on the East and West banks of the Nile River. Without the Nile River, Egypt would not have had such an amazing civilization. Join professional Egypt tour “Guide of the Stars” Walid El-Batouty as he takes attendees on a virtual tour along the banks to the Nile to explore the way the river shaped ancient Egyptian culture and beyond.

Walid El Batouty is a passionate and a highly respected tour guide in Egypt. He was recently nominated “Global Ambassador to the World Federation Tourist Guide Association” (WFTGA). Walid also served 10 years as the Vice President of the Syndicate of Tour Guides in Egypt, as well as an executive board member of WFTGA. Currently, Walid is the New Global Brand Ambassador to the World Federation of Tourist Guide Association, Executive Board Member of the Arab Federation of Tour Guide Association, Former Counselor to the Ministry of Tourism in Egypt, and Sustainable Tourism Counselor to the World Bank in the Middle East.
